FACULTY OF EDUCATION
The Faculty of Education was established in 2002 to offer study programs for the preparation of preschool educators and primary and lower secondary level teachers as a continuation of the tradition of the four Higher Pedagogical Schools (SHLP) that operated until that time in Prishtina, Prizren, Gjakova and Gjilan. The faculty currently has about 2500 students in three study levels. It offers Bachelor, Master, and Ph.D. programs for the preparation of educators and teachers for all levels as well as various professionals in the field of education. The Faculty of Education is a member of the Association of Teacher Education in Europe (ATEE) and has the Institute for Research and Development of Education (IHZhA) established.
The Mission of the Faculty of Education is to:
Provide quality programs for the preparation and continuous professional development of educators, teachers and other specialists in the field of education, the development of research-scientific activities and community networking, in order to achieve the advancement of a system oriented towards the needs of the society for quality education and the development of knowledge, skills and social values.

The Faculty of Education is Kosovo’s leading institution for the preparation of teachers and educational professionals, competent in the implementation of innovative teaching, learning, and research practices seeking to develop each individual to the maximum of their potential, striving for the country’s sustainable development and in line with global development trends.
