Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kyvete Shatri has been a lecturer at the University of Prishtina since 2008. She completed her doctoral studies at the European University of Tirana in the field of Information Technology, with a focus on the integration of technology into the teaching process, as well as the advantages and challenges that such integration brings.
Her research work is closely related to studying the effects of integrating new educational technologies into teaching and learning processes.
Professor Shatri previously served as Head of the Subject Teaching Department in the Master’s Program and as a member of the Governing Council of the Central University Library. She is currently a member of the Doctoral Board at the Faculty of Education.
She is the recipient of the international “Virginia” Award for scientific achievement from International Action Art–UNESCO, awarded in 2021. In 2024, she was conferred the title of Doctor Honoris Causa by the Universidad Nacional del Este, Republic of Paraguay.
The Vice Dean is responsible for the implementation of master’s programmes, including the management of the work of department heads and departmental secretaries.
The main responsibilities of the Vice Dean include:

Assigning academic staff to teaching hours based on their formal decisions/appointments and the Faculty’s needs to ensure full course coverage.

Leading and planning the teaching process.

Supervising the implementation of pedagogical practice in schools and other educational institutions.

Organizing and managing entrance examinations.

Reviewing and approving syllabi and courses within master’s programmes; analyzing syllabus implementation; conducting periodic programme reviews.

Reviewing and monitoring the quality of master’s theses; managing the process of drafting regulations and manuals for master’s thesis projects; overseeing the administrative implementation process of master’s theses; ensuring research standards in master’s theses; and defining the thesis writing format.

Monitoring the delivery of teaching and reviewing feedback emerging from surveys within the internal quality assurance system.

Organizing meetings with departments and professional groups to enhance the quality of studies, master’s theses, and practical work.

Co-chairing the Studies Commission.

Representing the Faculty of Education on relevant platforms.
